the Second Year, Safe TV® Receives Emmy® Nomination
from the
National
Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS)!
Safe TV®,
in Springdale, Arkansas, and Producer/Director, Carlos Pardeiro, have once
again been recognized with several national awards for the quality of
programming Safe TV® strives to achieve through its dedicated
team. In addition to receiving a Telly, Angel, Aurora and Award of
Excellence Videographer Awards earlier this year, for the second year in a
row, Mr. Pardeiro has received an Emmy Awards nomination. This
nomination is for the program “Called to Serve” from the TV series
Native New Day which he has been producing and directing for the past
few years. This program, hosted by storyteller
Monte
Church of the Mohican tribe, is dedicated to bring hope and dignity to all
Native Peoples in a simple, yet beautiful way through the gospel message of
Jesus Christ. The Emmy Awards recognize excellence within various areas of
the television industry. The awards are a symbol of peer recognition from
over 12,000 members of the Academy. This year’s winners will be announced in
a formal ceremony at the America Center in St. Louis, Missouri on October 20th,
2007.

a joint effort of a team of dedicated people working together to accomplish
a service to Native Peoples. We thank God for the blessings He continues to
bestow on the Native New Day TV series not only by the awards
received, but by the lives that have been touched as a result of Monte
Church’s moving presentations,” comments Carlos Pardeiro, Producer/Director
of Native New Day and President of Safe TV®.
Safe TV®
has also received, for the eleventh year in a row, a special distinction
from the Governor of Arkansas, Mike Beebe, when he proclaimed May 8th,
2007 as Safe TV Day for the state.
